Police report that the southbound express lanes of Highway 400 in Vaughan have reopened following a three-vehicle collision on Monday morning.
A tow truck collided with a van and then struck a pickup truck near Highway 7 as traffic was slowing. One person was airlifted to the hospital, though they were not seriously injured. Footage from the scene showed significant damage to the van, but it remains unclear whether the drivers of the other two vehicles were injured.
The southbound express lanes were closed temporarily for the investigation and cleanup. The vehicles have since been removed, and the road has been reopened.
