
A 20-year-old man suffered life-altering injuries while trying to help after a nine-vehicle crash in Uxbridge on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Regional Road 1, south of Fowlers Road, due to white-out conditions caused by blowing snow.
A Kia sedan was rear-ended, triggering a chain reaction of crashes. The man got out of his vehicle to assist, but was struck by a pickup truck and pinned into a snowbank.
He was airlifted to a trauma center with serious injuries. Other drivers involved sustained minor injuries. Police are seeking any information related to the incident.
